Taking a look back at last year's Discover Your Parks events...such a fun time for the whole family! On our "Constellation" Tour of Roseville Parks during summer 2011, we introduced new events, entertainment and games while still keeping favorites like the bounce castle alive.

Everyone loved the giant chess set last year, and this year we hope to introduce giant jenga!

We were fortunate to have guest speakers and presentations last year, like this bird release by the Wild Life Rehabilitation Center at Autumn Grove Park!

All the crawling critters, like this turtle, were fun too at Valley Park.  

But don't forget the furry animals, like this pony at the petting zoo that came to Pocahontas Park! This year, we plan to introduce pony rides at our "Wild Wild West" party at Applewood Park on August 1. 

And of course, we had the classic activities present at every Discover Your Parks event. No party in the park is complete without the bounce castle, puppet wagon, some crafts and delicious refreshments!

All the kids loved being able to play "puppeteer" after the puppet shows, brand new shows at each event. 

And the bounce castle was never empty!
