Roseville Rain or Shine

Despite some gloomy weather, Roseville's Kick & Slugger sports series was a hit

In week one, our super soccer stars of thefuture learned the fundamentals of passing and  kicking, plus recieved their official RPR sports t-shirt.

During the first week of the Slugger series, Rosevile's aspiring young baseball/softball players hit the field and worked on the basics of throwing and catching.

The Kick & Slugger programs are a great way to introduce younger children to the basics of soccer and baseball.

Roseville's summer sports programs run from June 18 -  August 2; there are lots of games left to be played! Registration spots remain available so sign up for some awesome summer fun.

DYP: Random Acts of Recreation visits Bruce Russell Park

A little rain didn't stop the fans of Roseville's  Bruce Russell Park from having some neighborhood fun.

Aadults and kids alike enjoyed arts and crafts, a gigantic game of chess and a special preformance by the Puppet Wagon.

Next week DYP will travel to Central Park at Lexington on Wednesday for more super summer fun and the OVAL on Friday. A special treat on Friday night, June 29 ... a Roll-in-Movie on the OVAL big screen. Bring the kids, bring the treats and enjoy "Field of Dreams".

Roll-in-Movie sponsored by Roseville Genisys Credit Union
